Tanagrams: Woodland Creatures
$25.00

Turn triangles and parallelograms into stunning geometric animals (Charley Harper fans, I see you.)

Using recycled cedar pieces, follow a pattern to make a seal, elk, bat, fox and more, or invent a creature from your own imagination. We are using beautiful scrap wood, so size and composition change with each assemblage.

You’ll take home your unique Tanagram as wall art, coffee table art, a gift or finish them at home with your choice of outdoor sealant.

Polaroid Pocket Books
$30.00

Turns out: vinyl, Polaroids and handwritten notes are timeless. Touch grass, my friend. Using Polaroid cameras, we’ll spend 10-15 minutes snapping 2 pics: so bring a friend for portraits, find an architectural detail at Sea Fog or byo Polaroids to class.

Afterwards, we’ll make an accordion pocketbook as a companions to these Polaroids, learning paper-craft display techniques. Made from recycled cedar, these light but sturdy portfolios make beautiful picture displays, with room for journaling and old-school reflection.

DIY Books: Japanese Stab Binding
$30.00

Explore book-making and paper craft with this series “DIY Books” held once a month. For the first class, we’ll explore Japanese Stab Binding (which is not as violent as it sounds).

Japanese Stab Binding is a technique that creates a stitched, geometric edge to bind paper. The result is a strong and beautiful book. We’ll make a simple paper journal to practice, then use our new skill on a book with a cover.

Choose between cedar scrap wood or card stock for the cover of your book, and curate the pages with an array of styles provided. Use watercolor paper for an art book, lined paper for a journal or bring scrapbook material of your own.

1 hour to get in a bind
All materials provided.

Exquisite Corpse
$7.00

Exquisite Corpse is a parlor game invented by Surrealist painters in 1925.

How does it work? People pass around a folded piece of paper and add drawings to it without looking at the rest. The results have led to melting clocks and surreal dreamscapes.

Each person will start with a piece of paper, and choose to start the game off with a drawing, the beginning of a sentence, or a collage to build upon for a surreal scene.

The game ends when you get your piece of paper back. You’ll take home a chaotically beautiful and collaborative drawing.

30-45min activity to stay creative
All materials provided.

Class Date:
10/19/2026 @ 5:30PM MON

10/27/2026 @ 5:30PM TUES

Monster Feels
$7.00

This Halloween Season, turn your tiny, daily frustration into a MONSTER through collage, drawing and mixed media.

In this class, we’ll get ugly about it. We’ll turn what ticks us off, like chores, faulty printers & gas prices… and transform it into a MONSTER we can recognize.

We’ll use found images of sci-fi villains, ancient sea creatures and creepy, crawly frenemies to illustrate the MONSTER within. We’ll also use stamps and textiles for a mixed media effect. You’ll bring home a monster drawing to keep… or burn.

If you’ve said “I can’t draw” to yourself or others, this class is for you.

30-45 min activity to release feelings.
All materials provided.

Planets. Houses. Zodiac Signs. Astrology is a fun exploration into Greek mythology, geometry, and an ancient question ”why are they like that?”

In this workshop, we’ll talk about the three big considerations: Planets, Houses, Zodiac Signs and what they mean. You’ll receive a blank astrology chart and learn to map your own planets, learning the Greek symbols for Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and more along the way. Take your unique birth chart home with you for more study and/or as wall art. Come celebrate Halloween with occult math!
